O testemunho que aqui deixo, pensado como um “currículo de legado” da Professora Doutora Luciana Couto — minha colega e amiga — baseia-se, em primeiro lugar, no conhecimento direto que tenho da sua pessoa e da sua trajetória profissional, académica e associativa, nomeadamente no seio da Ordem dos Médicos. A este conhecimento pessoal acrescentei uma investigação complementar, de modo a construir um retrato mais completo, fiel e respeitoso de alguém cuja vida se entrelaça de forma exemplar com a ciência médica, o ensino, a investigação e o humanismo.
