About the Journal

The Portuguese Journal of General and Family Medicine is the official organ of the Portuguese Association of General Family Medicine. It aims to contribute to the development of the specialty of General and Family Medicine and Primary Health Care, through an impartial, rigorous and up-to-date scientific publication.

It has been published since 1984 with a bimonthly periodicity.
