The particularities of ENT infections in clinical practice of the GP - very often, significant rate of viral and bacterial etiologies self-limited, and relative specificity of its initial manifestations - impose the adoption of diagnostic and therapeutic strategies tailored to this profile, which sometimes involve the use of time and waiting as therapeutic aids diagnosis, and one that benefits probabilistic reasoning algorithms to support clinical decision aids, which allow a rational use of resources and effective therapeutic available. Was sought in this article to provide concrete answers to questions of this scope, in frequent consultation of Family Medicine.Downloads
