Abstract

By their impact on quality of life of individuals affected by them, sleep disturbances should be solid background in the field of Family Medicine. The author of this article contextualizes the epidemiology of sleep disorders as sources of morbidity, classification and international resources for its general approach, addressing in particular the indications for the study Polygraphic sleep.
