Objective: To assess doctors and patients adhesion to the Portuguese NHS Diabetic Patients Guide Setting: Évora Health Centre Unit 1 (CSE -U - 1) Type of Study: Descriptive, cross-sectional. Population: All diabetic patients currently followed up at CSE-U-1 Methods: A survey was made to approximately 27% of diabetic patients regularly seen at Évora Health Centre Unit 1. Results: Over half of the patients did not have a Guide, a mere 19% had it on them at the time of the survey. Observed Guides were very incompletely filled in, and no Guide was completely filled in. Conclusions: The results highlight the fact that there is still a lot to be done regarding The Guides use and implementation.Downloads
