ASOCIACIÓN ENTRE FELICIDAD, PERCEPCIÓN DE SALUD Y CALIDAD DE VIDA DE ESTUDIANTES DE MEDICINA: ESTUDIO TRANSVERSAL

Resumen

Objetivo: Verificar la asociación entre la felicidad subjetiva y la satisfacción con la salud y la calidad de vida de estudiantes de medicina en Brasil. Métodos: estudio transversal con muestreo intencional. Participaron del estudio 362 estudiantes entre el 1º y 4º año (equivalente al 8º período) de la facultad de medicina de la Facultad de Medicina de Itajubá (FMIT), Brasil. Para evaluar la calidad de vida se utilizaron el Cuestionario de Caracterización Sociodemográfica y de Salud (QCSS), la Escala de Felicidad Subjetiva de Lyubomirsk y Lepper y el WHOQOL-Bref. Resultados: Este estudio exploró la relación entre la felicidad, la satisfacción con la salud y la calidad de vida de los estudiantes de medicina brasileños. Nuestros resultados muestran que una mejor percepción de felicidad se asoció con una mejor satisfacción con la salud y calidad de vida entre los estudiantes de medicina. Conclusiones: El presente estudio abordó una brecha interesante en la relación entre la felicidad subjetiva y la satisfacción con la salud y la calidad de vida de los estudiantes de medicina brasileños. Se concluye que los mayores niveles de felicidad de los participantes están asociados con una mejor satisfacción con la salud y una mejor percepción en los cuatro dominios de CV del WHOQOL-Bref.
