Supervised teaching practice with critical incidents is a method of guiding medical teachers through their teaching, and encouraging reflection and self-assessment, identifying the principles underlying the teaching process, and defining a work methodology to solve vocational training problems. In this article, the author describes the way to analyse critical incidents using a reflection model, which may lead to a change of concepts and attitudes concerning the event.Downloads
