Abstract

Dyslexia is perhaps the most frequent cause of school failure and low yield. In most cases it is not identified nor treated properly. The purpose of this article is to introduce the basic concepts of this disruption, to allow family physicians to know and identify, in children, signs of early risk, considering the possibility of their diagnosis and refer them for evaluation and intervention Specialty.
