Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a condition which contributes to, but is not the only cause of lower urinary symptoms in elderly men. Although efforts have been initiated in recent years to elucidate the etiology of prostate growth based on old man, were not established clear cause-effect relationships. Just knowing the conditions which give rise to lower urinary symptoms in man, as in the case of benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostatitis, one can choose alternatives to successfully treat, and possibly prevent the adverse effects of these disorders in the function of the urinary low.Downloads
