Honor and challenge! These are two ideas that represent what I feel when writing these words. It is an honor to talk about someone I admire so much. Challenged by the fear that words will become too small to describe the scope of your person and your journey.
Jaime Correia de Sousa, as a family doctor, professor, researcher, and visionary, has become an essential figure in General and Family Medicine (GFM) in Portugal, inspiring generations of doctors and other professionals to embrace the values of humanism, dedication, resilience, and empathetic leadership.
