O ano de 2021, como já tinha acontecido em 2020, foi vivido num clima de grande incerteza devido à pandemia COVID. Os médicos de família (MF) foram sujeitos a inúmeras e exigentes solicitações, mostrando mais uma vez a sua centralidade no sistema de saúde português, embora sem nunca serem alvo de um justo reconhecimento e merecida valorização.
Foi neste contexto particularmente difícil que, no início do ano, tomaram posse os novos órgãos sociais da Associação Portuguesa de Medicina Geral e Familiar (APMGF). Com uma nova Direção Nacional, iniciou-se a concretização de um projeto que nasceu da necessidade sentida de mudança, reinvenção e readaptação.
